Masta Ace Discusses Punchline's eMC Departure
Exclusive: "It was clear Punch just wasn't on the same page," Masta Ace says of Punchline's departure from eMC.
Punchline announced his departure from eMCyesterday (October 20). Masta Ace, Wordsworth and Stricklin will move forward with eMC as a trio.
"He’s a talented dude and we wish Punch the best,”Masta Ace says today (October 21) during an exclusive interview with HipHopDX. “It was clear Punch just wasn’t on the same page as the three of us. This was the only decision that could be made. There is no animosity between us and we wish Punch all the best as he moves forward with his career.” 
Masta Ace, Wordsworth and Stricklin are slated to start their Greenroom Tour this week in Germany. Other stops on the jaunt are England, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Poland and Austria.
eMC is scheduled to release its The Tonite Show album through Penalty Entertainmentthis winter, according to Masta Ace. 
The group released its The Turning Point EP in May. The collection earned four out of five Xs in its HipHopDX review. "The Turning Point is very good,” Homer Johnsen said in his review of The Turning Point. "For an EP, six tracks and skits make for a generous listen."
