$25,000 Reward Offered In Connection With M-Bone's Murder
UPDATE: More than six months after his murder, a handsome reward is being offered in connection with the case.
Six weeks after the murder of Cali Swag District’s M-Bone, police are still looking for a suspect and continue to hit roadblocks. According to Time Magazine, investigators are having trouble locating the gunman who fatally shot M-Bone as witnesses have been reluctant to cooperate.“When witnesses don't want to come out and talk, that's a challenge," said Lieutenant Oscar Serrano of the Inglewood Police Department. "It's proven to be a challenge in these types of shootings, and it's a challenge right now."
Following his untimely death, locals in Inglewood, California explained that the gunman might have been jealous of his success and that M-Bone recently feuded with someone on the internet.
"It's something that's been brought to the attention of detectives, and they're looking into whether it's important to the investigation," adds Serrano.
M-Bone was parked outside of Airport Liquors on Sunday, May 15th, making a stop on his way to a nearby studio. The gunman pulled up next to his car and fatally shot him twice in the head.
