Hip Hop Album Sales: The Week Ending 3/18/2012
Tech N9ne debuts in the Top 50 for the third time in less than a year, while Childish Gambino's "Camp" spikes on the charts.
The lone new release this past week came from Tech N9ne. The Kansas City, Missouri emcee's Klusterfuk EP, his third release in the last year, cracked the upper tenth of the Top 200. As Maino's Day After Tomorrow left the charts, Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV returned to his usual spot after last Wednesday's strong surge, and Childish Gambino's Camp enjoyed a serious spike.

Tech N9ne Breaks Up The Chart Klusterfuk

Klusterfuk is Tech N9ne's third EP is a release-filled career. The six-song digital release features Strange Music artists Krizz Kaliko and ¡Mayday!'s Wrekonize. The project debuted at #12, selling just under 17,000 overall units. This work follows two 2011 albums that also appeared near the top of the charts, All 6's & 7's (#4) and Welcome To Strangeland (#21).

Childish Gambino's Camp Climbs 32 Spots

Donald Glover's (a/k/a Childish Gambino's) November, 2011 album Camp climbed an impressive 32 spots last week. The Glassnote Records release, which features no vocal guests, has now crossed the 140,000 mark overall.
