Rick Ross' "God Forgives, I Don't" gets squeezed out of the #1 spot, as Mayday! makes their second appearance on the charts in 2012 with "Thrift Store Halos." Mac Miller and Aesop Rock bounce back.
Following his #1 debut, Rick Ross slipped a spot with his God Forgives, I Don't. The Def Jam Records artist lost out, by approximately 50,000 spots to the Now 43 compilation.
The lone addition to the charts this week was from another South Florida act, ¡Mayday!. The Strange Music Hip Hop band's second release of 2012, Thrift Store Halos, debuted at #124. Their March album, Take Me To Your Leader, debuted at #86.
Aesop Rock's Skelethon and Mac Miller's Blue Slide Park also returned to the Top 200, after weeks away.

Nas' Life Is Good Slips Out Of The Top 10

One of the most-discussed albums of 2012, Nas' Life Is Good, fell from the Top 10 for the first time this year. In its fourth week on the charts, the Def Jam Records release featuring Rick Ross, Swizz Beatz and Large Professor went to #12. Nas' eleventh solo album has scanned just under 250,000 overall units to date.

¡Mayday!'s Thrift Store Halos Needs No Consignment

Miami sextet ¡Mayday! continues to enjoy their biggest career in a long-building career. The group's seven-song digital EP, Thrift Store Halos sold just under 3,000 units. After working with Tech N9ne and Murs on their spring LP, the group led by Bernbiz and Wrekonize kept it all in-house on this one.
