Rap Release Dates: Lupe Fiasco, Yelawolf, RZA, Pusha T

Lupe Fiasco brings some news about "Food & Liquor 2" while Yelawolf preps his EP and LP, RZA gets a star-studded soundtrack and Pusha T is rolling solo.

After the news from last week that G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer has been delayed until September, the album pushback news has remained silent for the most part. That's good news, considering it means most of the upcoming projects on the horizon will see the light of day. Pusha T will most definitely be on the aforementioned compilation, but he has his own solo project coming soon. He just previewed the cut "40 Acres" and said the LP will be inspired by the film "Devil's Advocate." In other film news, RZA is making his directorial debut with "The Man With the Iron Fists." As if that's not exciting enough, he'll be bringing in some big names for the soundtrack, including Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa.
If you're waiting for Yelawolf to bring a sequel to Radioactive, you won't be waiting too much longer. Yela finished his Psycho White EP with Travis Barker and is looking to drop Love Story in 2013 - believe it or not, that's right around the corner. Lastly, as Lupe Fiasco gears for his September 25th release of Food & Liquor 2, he says the second disc off that project will be "experimental." The project is a double-disc, so if you're not into "experimenting," you'll always have the first disc to fall back on.
