This is the first time the Bay Area legend’s megahit is available on 7-inch vinyl. “Blow the Whistle” first dropped in 2006 and the Lil Jon-produced track was part of the album of the same name.
“Off the Books” united Big Pun and Cuban Link for The Beatnuts’ 1997 album, Stone Crazy. Big Pun died of a heart attack in February of 2000.
Both vinyls feature the original track and an instrumental. They will be available January 6 for $12.98 each at getondown.com.
